DISNEY+ is now one of the world’s most popular streaming services – but like rivals, it’s not free.

Thankfully there are cheaper ways to buy the streaming service.

Normally you’d pay £7.99/$7.99 a month for Disney+, which isn’t bad given the telly on offer.

However, you can save 15% if you buy an entire year of membership in one go – coming in at just shy of £80/$80.

If you’re looking for a significantly cheaper deal, you might have a long wait ahead of you.

Disney does occasionally discount the service, although it’s not very common.

The last major discount from Disney came on November 12, when the service was discounted to £1.99/$1.99 for the first month.

It was in celebration of the two-year Disney+ anniversary, and was only available for two days.

So if you want a similar deal, you might have to wait until November 12, 2022.

It’s entirely possible that Disney could offer a price cut over Black Friday, although there’s no suggestion that will be the case.

Another option save money is to use a cashback deal to claim £10 back off the cost of an annual membership.

This Brits-only deal is available over at savings site TopCashback.

But it’s a cashback deal, so you’ll still have to pay the full price upfront – and claim the tenner back later.

It’s a great time to buy Disney+, as the service is about to add the new Hawkeye TV series.

Disney+ recently added a load of new content to the app, as part of its anniversary celebrations.

Most Disney+ fans will be excited for Shang-Chi – but that’s not the only addition.

Jungle Cruise is also going wider, after a stint behind the Premium Access paywall.

That’s the epic Disney action (based on a real Disney ride) starring Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Emily Blunt.

A reboot of Home Alone called Home Sweet Home Alone is also coming.

And 2007’s iconic princess movie Enchanted is also dropping.

Other additions include Olaf Presents, Ciao Alberto, The Simpsons in Plusaversary, The Making of Happier than Ever, The Making of Shang-Chi, Spin, Entrelazados, Fancy Nancy, Frozen Fever, Paperman, The Ballad of Nessie, Feast, Get A Horse!, The Little Matchgirl, Tick Tock Tale, Tangled Ever After, The World According to Jeff Goldblum (Season 2), Under the Helmet: The Legacy of Boba Fest.

You’ll be able to enjoy some movies with IMAX’s expanded aspect ratio, including with Disney+.

Here’s the full list…

  • Iron Man (2008)
  • Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)
  • Captain America: Civil War (2016)
  • Doctor Strange (2016)
