Davis Riley Is The Fan Favorite PGA Rookie
The presence of Davis Riley at the 2022 Valspar Championship surprised the golf world. The golfer’s ability to compete against the world’s best players as a PGA rookie astounded everyone. While the tournament taught the golf world a lot, he also took away a crucial lesson from his first-ever PGA event.
On the last day of the competition, Riley made a triple bogey on the par-5 fifth hole. He overcame this, however, with a birdie on the 17th hole. In addition, he competed in the playoffs against the defending champion, Sam Burns.
