IF you’re a science fiction fan you’ve probably seen a movie in which artificial intelligence and robots take over the world.

One TikToker has taken the concept a bit further by asking AI to produce images predicting how it will take over Earth.

Aptly named “Robot Overloards” the TikTok account promises “daily disturbing AI-generated images”.

The TikTok account claims to have asked AI “how it will take over the world”.

The images revealed in the short video show masses of scary machines.

Some of the imagined robots are shown towering over humans.

One scene even looks like some last remaining humans moving through a robot city.

The TikTok video has over 43,000 likes but some viewers were more pleased than others.

One TikTok user wrote: “Don’t put that in their heads.”

Another joked: “Just spray some water on it”.

The TikToker hasn’t clearly stated which AI is being used to generate the images but they do use the hashtag “Dalle2”.

Created in 2021, DALL-E is known as a transformer language model that can turn almost any idea into images.

“It receives both the text and the image as a single stream of data containing up to 1280 tokens and is trained using maximum likelihood to generate all of the tokens, one after another,” according to Open AI.

“This training procedure allows DALL·E to not only generate an image from scratch but also to regenerate any rectangular region of an existing image that extends to the bottom-right corner, in a way that is consistent with the text prompt.”

DALL-E was named after Pixar’s friendly robot Wall-E, according to The Big Issue.

DALL-E 2 is another installment of this AI.
