COSTCO shoppers are going wild for a huge Christmas chocolate essential they “need in their lives”.

A customer spotted the Large Christmas Cracker at a Costco Wholesale warehouse in Newcastle.

The 2.42kg cracker contains a range of iconic chocolates and sweets including Rolos, Fruit Pastilles, Chunky KitKats, Aeros and Toffee Crisps.

Costco’s listing reads: “The Large Christmas Cracker offers all your favourite sweet treats in a large Christmas Cracker with see through panels to entice your taste buds.

“From chocolate bars to delicious fruity-flavoured chewy sweets, they contain no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.

“Ideal as a Christmas gift, to share with friends or as a sweet treat for your family!”

One shopper said they picked up the huge cracker for just £29.95 in a Costco Wholesale store.

The sweet-filled cracker costs £35.99 online – although shipping is included.

Not all bargain-hunters were convinced by the huge festive treat.

Keva said: “You can buy all the stuff inside for much less than the cracker costs.”
