It 2017, it also offered sweet deals on food products and gifts, such as a Jelly Bean Factory Bean machine including 2kg of treats for £22.99 and a Nutri Ninja Blender IQ Extractor and Cups for £49.99.

In 2018, Costco even slashed the price of TVs, with an LG 55ins 4K ultra HD HDR Smart TV reduced to £449.99, saving you £50.

The Black Friday deals lasted for several days, and ended at midnight before Cyber Monday.

Costco has so far remained tight-lipped about its deals for 2020, so we’ll update this article once we know more.

In the meantime, its “Black Friday event” page reveals shoppers can confusingly expect offers from November 29 to December 1, although Black Friday is on November 27.

Our tips for finding the best deals this Black Friday

IT might be tempting to dive in and snap up LOADS of items on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but here’s how you can guarantee you’re getting a good deal.

PREPARE Research the items you want to buy and find out the cheapest price. Websites like PriceSpy, PriceRunner and CamelCamelCamel will give you historical data on prices so you can see how much you should pay.

GET FOLLOWING Follow your favourite shops on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram and sign up to its deals newsletter to get the latest on any offers. We post the best deals in our Sun Money Facebook group too.

EARN CASHBACK Check websites like Quidco and TopCashback BEFORE you place your order. Cashback websites PAY you to shop. All you have to do is click through their links and the money is added to your online account, usually within 14 days.

To find the best Black Friday deals and bargains, it could be worth signing up to the retailer’s newsletter on the same page.

Meanwhile, Facebook page Money Saver Online has predicted that Costco’s Black Friday sale will start on November 23, given it began on the Monday before the big day last year.

Just keep in mind that Costco is a wholesaler and you can only shop there if you’re a member.

An annual online shopping subscription to the retailer costs £15, while it’s £33.60 if you want to spend in store.

In other words, if you’re just signing up to take advantage of Black Friday then you’ll need to carefully consider whether it’s worth it – the cost of your membership will eat into your savings.

You can sign up on its website.
