Co-op shoppers are rushing to buy ‘absolutely lush’ flavour mince pies – but you need to be quick

CO-OP shoppers are rushing to buy an alternative flavour mince pie that tastes ‘absolutely lush’.

The supermarket chain is selling Black Forest flavour mince pies but you need to be quick if you want to get your hands on them.

One sweet-toothed shopper posted a picture of the mince pies in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group.

The new spin on the festive favourite is filled with a fruity brandy and ruby port mincemeat, morello cherry conserve, kirsch frosting and Belgian chocolate.

The alternative sweet treat comes in a pack of four and is priced at £2.65, but Co-op cardholders can get them for just £2.

Mince pie fans rushed to comment on the post and it seems that the new flavour is a hit with those who have already managed to taste them.

One Co-op employee said they are “amazing” but urged people to be quick.

She said: “I’ve had so many boxes of these, I work for the Co-op and they sell really quick when they are in.”

Another person added: “We had some in the office they were so nice.”

While a third person commented: “I am addicted to these they are absolutely yummy”.

Another fan simply said: “I have tried these already, they are absolutely lush.”

We checked on the Co-op website and the item is showing out of stock online but that does not mean they are not available in stores.
