Breakdown of relationship could have been motive for attack in which woman and her two children were doused with corrosive liquid

The suspect in the Clapham chemical attack had been in a relationship with the woman who was injured, police revealed, and said the breakdown of the relationship could have been a motive for the attack last week.

Police have warned that the facial injuries suffered by Abdul Ezedi, 35, in the attack in south London could be fatal if left untreated.
