In the other quarter-finals, Levon Aronian (Armenia) beat Hikaru Nakamura (US), Teimour Radjabov (Azerbaijan) beat Ian Nepomniachtchi (Russia), and Maxime Vachier-Lagrave (France) beat Wesley So (US).
