THE best supermarkets to bag cheap bottles of fizz for King Charles’ Coronation have been revealed.
Which? tested a number of budget bottles of sparkling wine and champagne deciding on the tastiest and least expensive.

Asda’s Extra Special Mas Miralda Cava Brut 2017 scored highly in the sparkling wine category test – and only costs £8.
Meanwhile, Which? crowned Aldi’s Bowler and Brolly Winemasters Lot English Sparkling Wine its Best Buy recommendation in the English Sparkling Wine test.
The bottle comes in at £19.99, beating a number of alternatives on price and flavour.
Tesco’s Finest Premier Cru Champagne came out on top in the champagne category.
Which? praised the bottle for its pleasant, nutty finish and £23 price tag – roughly half as much as other branded items.
And Co-Op’s Irresistible Prosecco, priced at £9.50, was another recommended bottle.
Ele Clark, Which? retail editor, said: “Those looking to toast the coronation with a fizz fit for a king will be delighted to find out they can get a great-tasting bottle on a budget, with some of the cheapest sparkling wines we tested giving the big brands a run for their money.
“Once again our taste tests have proven that supermarket fizz can more than hold its own against the famous champagne houses, delivering excellent quality and great value for money.”

It comes after the first 50p King Charles coronation coins were revealed by the Royal Mint, the official maker of British coins.
The collection, which includes a 50p and £5 coin, has been available to buy since April 24.
Meanwhile, Home Bargains shoppers have been raving about a new and cheap Coronation range at stores.
It includes bunting for 79p, four-packs of cupcakes for £1.49 and paper plates for £1.29.
