The popular garden accessories can be pretty pricey, so knowing where the cheapest place to buy them is vital.

Various different stores sell their own versions of the hanging chair, with prices ranging up to over £500 at some retailers.

As we get closer to summer shops will likely hold big garden furniture sales so it could be worth holding off if you’re looking to buy one.

But do bear in mind that the closer we get to the warmer months, more and more shoppers will be rushing to buy so they could sell out quickly.

The cheapest price we could find an egg chair being sold for was at B&M, which is charging just £100 for its New York Hanging Egg Chair.

The next cheapest we found was at Lidl which is selling its Livarno Home hanging egg chair for £149.99 – plus a special coupon could bag you even more money off.

If you’re in the market then it’s important to make sure you have enough space first – it would be a nightmare to buy one of the comfy chairs before realising it doesn’t fit.

Prices can also vary day to day what deals are on at the time and remember you might pay for delivery you’re ordering online.

You can compare prices on websites like Google shopping, plus deal-finding site HotUKDeals can also be a handy way to stay on top of the bargains.

B&M

Everyone’s favourite discounter is selling New York hanging egg chair for just £100 – the cheapest we could find this week.

The chair is reduced at the moment from its usual price of £150, that’s 33% off.

B&M describes the garden must-have as “comfortable, modern and stylish”.

As well as the frame, also included are the cushions, the screws and fixings and the the instructions for how to put it together.

The basket chair is 132 x 78 x 70cm, while the frame measures at 100 x 92 x 202cm.

It weighs around 22kg with a max weight of 100kg and is made for indoor and outdoor use.

B&M shoppers will only be able to pick it up in store, you can find your nearest shop on the website.

Lidl

Savvy shoppers have been sharing Lidl’s bargain chair on HotUKDeals, where it gained a whopping 902C heat rating – meaning that other agreed that it’s a great price.

The piece of furniture costs £149.99 in store but customers have revealed that using a special code can get you a further 20% off.

This takes the price down to just £119.99 and you can find the code on the Lidl Plus app.

The chair’s dimensions are as follows: W132 x H198 x D110cm.

Its height off the ground is adjustable and it can carry a maximum weight of 110kg.

Plus, it comes with a three year warranty.

You can only find the chair in-store and stock will vary by location.

It might be best to phone ahead to avoid disappointment.

Dunelm

Dunelm is also selling a Singapore hanging egg chair for £199, reduced from £249.

It is made from metal and rattan and comes with a cushion included.

The furniture retailer describes the chair as “durable and sturdy” that adds a “fun and relaxing touch to your garden.

 For the entire product the dimensions are as follows: H184cm x W120cm x D118cm – and it weighs 34kg.

Shoppers can order the chair to their home or to their closest store.

It comes in two colours, cream and black.

The Range

The Range has various different egg chairs available but the cheapest we found was for just £169.

Its Antigua Rattan and Steel hanging egg chair in grey is available both online and in store.

The comfy seat comes with waterproof cushions and weighs around 23kg.

The retailer describes it as a “wonderful blend of fashion and comfort”.

Its measurements are: L67cm x W122cm x H196cm x D: 67cm.

B&Q

B&Q is also selling a hanging egg chair for £189.99, complete with comfy cushions too.

Shoppers will only be able to pick up the chair on the DIY retailer’s website as it isn’t available in store or for click and collect.

It has a thick weave constructed with a metal framework, making it pretty sturdy.

The chair has the following dimensions: D610mm x H2010mm x W870mm.

It also weighs 48kg and comes with a one year guarantee.

Aldi

Aldi is always a popular shop for people to pick up a hanging egg chair.

Currently the cheapest one we could find at the discount supermarket is available for £199.99.

The furniture item also comes with a handy cover, meaning it will last even longer when exposed to the elements.

Including the frame its dimensions are: 195 x 100 x 95cm and it weighs around 24kg.

The seating essential also comes with a three year warranty – as well as a seat cushion and a head pillow.

Aldi shoppers can pick up the chair online only and it’s available to pre-order now.

Home Bargains

Home Bargains shoppers can pick up the Marbella Double Hanging chair and cushions in shade natural.

It costs slightly more than the others at £269.99 and is only available to buy online.

The trendy seat is approximately H198 x 129cm and can carry a maximum load of 150kg.

According to the Home Bargains website it will fit two people, which the others we have looked at don’t.

Its white cushions are made from 100% polyester, while its frame is made from steel.

Meanwhile, a major supermarket has slashed the price of garden must-haves including furniture & BBQs by up to 47%.
