This year Morrisons is partnering with Direct Fireworks which will be available in stores from October 28 to November 5.

Prices for sparklers start from 50p while the Fantastic 20 Shot Fan Barrage promises sparkle after sparkle for just £25.

At the top end, there’s the Olympian display pack, which will set you back £65.

It contains seven items, with 50 pieces included in each.

Quite a few supermarkets have decided not to sell fireworks this year.

In 2021 Sainsbury banned the sale of fireworks in all its stores.

It came after concerns raised by charities that fireworks cause unnecessary distress to pets, wildlife and elderly people.

It doesn’t look like Tesco or M&S will be selling fireworks this year either.

Remember that you need to be at least 18 years old to purchase fireworks.

It might be worth checking with your local council to see if it has any rules on setting them off as well, including time limits.
