Of course, remember to compare the prices we found online as you might find them cheaper.

You can use websites like Trolley or the Google Shopping tab to compare prices of thousands of items.

Meanwhile, always factor in delivery costs as that can up the cost of any Valentine’s present.

Card Factory might not be the first choice when thinking for a place to buy Valentine’s Day chocolates.

But the retailer, with over 1,000 UK and Ireland stores, is selling a heart-shaped chocolate share tray for just £2.99.

You can order via home delivery, or you could head to your nearest branch, which you can find using the retailer’s branch locator tool on its website.

Posh retailer M&S is selling a chocolate share bag for just £3.50 ahead of February 14.

The gift bag comes with solid chunks of milk chocolate hearts inside – and is suitable for veggies too, so no one has to miss out.

Bear in mind if you do want to buy the choccies, you will need to place a minimum order of £40.

Or, you could try finding them in your local branch, which you can find using the retailer’s store locator.

Cadbury shoppers rejoice as a number of retailers are selling its Milk Tray – ideal for a loved one next week.

Both Asda and Morrisons are selling the box for £4.50, the cheapest we could find it, so you can take your pick.

Next, Aldi is selling it for £4.99, B&M for £5.99 and Tesco for £6, or £5 for Clubcard customers.

Again, you can use the retailer’s store locators if you want to find your nearest branch rather than order via home delivery.

Toblerone fans will be keen on this Truffles Box which is £4.50 at Asda.

Tesco and Sainsbury’s customers can pick up the box for £4.50 as well, but they’ll need either a Clubcard or Nectar Card.

Boots also last had the box on sale for £2.10 but it appears to be out of stock on the retailer’s website for now.

It might be worth checking in in a couple of days’ time to see if it’s available again.

Lindt fans will be keen on this Lindt Lindor Milk Chocolate Heart Box which is selling for £7.50.

Lindt members can also pick up the tray box for £6.

We couldn’t find the tray, which comes with milk chocolate balls inside, cheaper anywhere else.

Bear in mind you’ll have to spend a minimum of £20 to qualify for home delivery and you get free delivery on orders over £50.

Iceland, Asda and Morrisons are all selling this Quality Street 220g tub for £3 – ideal if you’re looking to do Valentine’s Day on the cheap.

Meanwhile, Tesco is selling it for £3.50, or £3 if you’ve go a Clubcard, and Waitrose for £3.75.
