MOTHER’S Day is just around the corner and one supermarket is selling a Cadbury chocolate box the cheapest.

If you’re thinking of gifting your loved one a sweet treat instead of flowers this year, you don’t have to spend a fortune.

Tesco has slashed the price of two of its Cadbury Milk Trays to £4, for customers with a Clubcard.

But if you want to spend the least this week, you should head to Aldi.

The retailer, which runs over 1,000 UK stores, has dropped the price of its 360g Cadbury Milk Tray from £4.25 to £3.99.

The tray comes in a sleek box design making it an ideal present for Mother’s Day, and with a selection of chocolates inside.

Shoppers can choose from a caramel softy, hazelnut swirl, white truffle, raspberries and cream and orange truffle.

There’s also a salted caramel charm, truffle heart, honey crunch, fudge duet and perfect praline to pick from.

If you want to nab one of the boxes ahead of Mother’s Day, remember Aldi doesn’t do home delivery.

You can click and collect for £4.99 or you could head to your nearest store and pick one up for free.

You can find your closest Aldi branch by using the retailer’s store locator tool on its website.

If you don’t have an Aldi nearby, the next cheapest option for the 360g tray after Tesco is Morrisons, which is selling it for £4.25.

After that, Asda has it for £4.50, Ocado for £5.50, B&M for £5.99 and Iceland for £6.

Tesco has also slashed the price of its larger 530g Cadbury Milk Tray from £7 to £4 for Clubcard customers.

That’s the cheapest supermarket you’ll find the selection box, with rival Sainsbury’s selling it for £7 to Nectar Card shoppers, otherwise it’s £10.

Ocado is also selling it for £7 while Morrisons has it in stock for £9.

Iceland is also selling a smaller 180g Cadbury Milk Tray box for £2.50 if you want to spend even less.

What other Cadbury chocolates can I buy for Mother’s Day?

If one of the Milk Trays doesn’t take your fancy, the Cadbury’s Gifts website has 24 different varieties specifically for Mother’s Day.

Prices start from £3.49 for a Cadbury “Mum My Hero” tray which comes with a large Dairy Milk chocolate bar inside.

You can snap up a Toblerone love chocolate bar for £6.89 or a Roses Chocolate Gift Carton for £4.99 too.

There’s also a Cadbury Double Deck selection box for £15 and even a Cadbury selection box with Prosecco for £28.

Bear in mind you’ll have to pay a delivery fee to get the trays shipped to your home, with prices starting from £3.99.

Next day delivery prices start from £6.95 if you leave it late.

Remember to shop around if you’re planning on buying any of the above chocolates as you might find the products cheaper that we did.
