He went on to say that he hiccups all day and half the night, and that it happens every time he eats or even just drinks water.

After a near-death experience in December 2021, he revealed that he had been suffering from breathing problems as a result of catching COVID-19.
He was eventually brought to the hospital and put on life support due to pneumonia.
Due to health difficulties, the professional bodybuilder had been delaying his return to competitive bodybuilding, but he recently voiced optimism that he will be able to return shortly.
