Carphone Warehouse Black Friday 2020: What to look out for

CARPHONE Warehouse’s BlackFriday sale tends to come in waves, even before the big day.

Last year’s savings included offers on Samsung, Apple and Google handsets, as well as across Pay Monthly, Sim Only, and Sim Free.

When is Black Friday 2020?

Black Friday this year falls on Friday November 27 – the fourth Friday of the year.

It is always the days after the American holiday Thanksgiving, which always falls on the fourth Thursday.

Carphone Warehouse’s Black Friday deals start before the day though, with several waves of offers to compete with other mobile retailers.

When is Cyber Monday 2020 and is Carphone Warehouse taking part?

This year, Cyber Monday is on Monday, November 30.

Carphone Warehouse typically takes part in Cyber Monday, with discounts from Black Friday through the weekend and that Monday.

What to expect from Carphone Warehouse’s Black Friday 2020

Carphone Warehouse usually releases waves of offers for Black Friday.

Last year the retailer had two waves of offers even before Black Friday arrived, and then released new offers for the day itself.

For deals, you can expect iPhone, Galaxy and other top handset discounts, on pay monthly contract and SIM-free.

SIM-deals will be another focus for Carphone Warehouse, but like other deals available these will be hotly competed.

With a new iPhone 12 launch slated for October, iPhone 11 deals could be even hotter property this year.

What was in the sale last year?

Last year Carphone Warehouse’s Black Friday kicked off with ‘Why Wait’ deals, two weeks before the vent.

These included great offers on the Huawei P30 Lite, Sony Xperia 1, and even the new Google Pixel 3A.

These were then followe up with huge deals on big hitters, including Samsung, and Apple – with huge triple data offers.
