Britons will be hit with rain, snow and freezing temperatures in a “rollercoaster” weather cycle next week, according to forecasters.
The Met Office has said the temperature will be significantly lower on Thursday compared with Wednesday, plunging by as much as 7C (12.6F) across all areas of the UK.
