SHOPPERS have spotted a “beautiful” egg chair from B&Q that costs £52.50 less than usual and is the cheapest around.

It’s the GoodHome Apolima steel kids egg chair – and it costs £97.50.

The B&Q sales item used to cost £150 but is down on price for a limited time.

The chair is made from steel and synthetic rope complete with removable washable covers to make it easy to clean.

You’ll need to build it yourself but there’s an instruction manual included if you get stuck.

And remember you can’t fold it for storage, but it weighs 8.5kg to give you an idea if you’re planning on moving it far.

One shopper in particular was impressed in the reviews section online, writing: “This is great. My daughter loves this chair. It is a beautiful piece of furniture.”

But keep in mind this is a kids chair, and is only 1020mm tall and 700mm wide.

If you’re planning to order one online, there’s no need to worry about delivery costs this time.

All orders over £75 are free to deliver, otherwise standard charges are £6.

However, if you’d rather have a look in person, you can use the B&Q store locator online to find your nearest branch.

You just need to punch in your postcode.

We recommend calling up the store first to make sure it’s in stock – it could be subject to availability since it’s a popular sale item.

And you don’t want to rock up and be disappointed.

But it’s important not to buy it just because it’s on sale – make sure you were after something like it in the first place before you splash the cash.

Otherwise, you’re not saving any money.

When we looked, we couldn’t find any kids egg chairs for as cheap. The closest was a £99 version from Technology SpareParts.

But make sure to have a look around yourself in case we’ve missed anything.

You can use comparison tools like Google Shopping or PriceRunner to make your search nice and easy.

Elsewhere, adult egg chairs are much more expensive.

There’s a Habitat Kora Rattan Effect Garden Egg Chair from Argos for £184 – which used to be £230.

This one is also made from metal with removable cushion covers included.

It weighs 15kg and is about 147cm tall and 77cm wide.

We also spotted a Studio egg chair for £180, down from £200.

Sometimes Studio has a Deal of The Day promotion – which is an item significantly down in price for 24 hours only.

So it might be a good idea to keep your eye on their website as summer unfolds.

Elsewhere, B&M is currently selling a New York Hanging Egg Chair for just £100 – down from £150.

It has a rattan effect frame and comes with comfy cushions making it the perfect way to hang around and relax in the garden.

Described online as being comfortable, modern and stylish, it won’t be long before this offer is snapped up by bargain hunters.

The discounted egg chair is advertised on the B&M website but it is only available in-store and while stocks last.
