SHOPPERS are rushing to buy a bathroom must-have from B&Q scanning at just £1 at the till instead of £100.

The item is a Blyss Boxwood white vertical towel warmer, which helps to dry your damp towels and prevent mould.

One B&Q shoppers, who posted in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group, spotted the item on sale in their local store for just £1.

The savvy shopper wrote: “Absolute bargain, towel warmer £100 down to £1 B&Q- Eltham.”

When we checked online, we found the exact same item for sale on the B&Q website for £95.

So it’s best to visit your local store if you do want to bag this bargain.

Although do bear in mind that when prices are reduced by this much it’s usually in order for stores to clear excess stock, so prices and stock will vary from store to store.

It’s always best to phone ahead to your local shop to check what they have available to avoid disappointment.

Described as “durable and dependable”, the towel warmer is 90cm tall and 50cm across.

It always pays to compare prices so you know you’re getting the best deal.

And remember, don’t buy it just for the sake of it. Make sure you actually need it first, or you’re not saving any money.

If you don’t manage to bag the towel heater for £1, you’re unlikely to find it cheaper anywhere else.

But if you don’t, there are similar rails for less than the online price of £95.

For example, Victorian Plumbing is selling a black towel rail reduced from £89.95 to £79.95.

While Screwfix is selling a Blyss towel radiator for £52.99 online.

It’s worth making sure that your towel rail is in the right place in your bathroom.
