The chain is selling a Flomasta flat radiator which can be bolted on to your wall and has bars that heat up.

Its normal price is £25.84 but B&Q is applying a 20% discount when you checkout online.

One shopper recently took to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group to share a photo of one of the towel racks they picked up from the retailer.

The post has received plenty of love from fellow bargain hunters who have already snapped one up or are keen to.

One said: “Thank you, just ordered mine.”

A second said “just bought this bargain thank you for sharing” while a third added “this is what I want!”

The heated towel rack comes with bracket and wall fixings included and also a 10-year guarantee.

When we looked at ordering via home delivery in the South-East of London it was out of stock though.

Others online have reported not being able to get hold of it in their local branches either.

If you’re keen on one of the racks, keep an eye on the B&Q website to see if they restock it over the coming days and weeks.

And of course, always remember to shop around when buying something like this as you might find it cheaper elsewhere.

Websites like Price Spy let you track how much a specific product has sold for over a specific time period, and across different retailers.

The Google Shopping tab lets you scan the internet to see how much the same item is selling for on various websites too.

We had a quick look online to see if any other retailers are selling the Flomasta towel rack cheaper than B&Q and couldn’t find any.

How to compare prices to get the best deal

JUST because something is on offer, or is part of a sale, it doesn’t mean it’s always a good deal.

There are plenty of comparison websites out there that’ll check prices for you – so don’t be left paying more than you have to.

Most of them work by comparing the prices across hundreds of retailers.

Here are some that we recommend:

  • Google Shopping is a tool that lets users search for and compare prices for products across the web. Simply type in keywords, or a product number, to bring up search results.
  • Price Spy logs the history of how much something costs from over 3,000 different retailers, including Argos, Amazon, eBay and the supermarkets. Once you select an individual product you can quickly compare which stores have the best price and which have it in stock.
  • Idealo is another website that lets you compare prices between retailers. All shoppers need to do is search for the item they need and the website will rank them from the cheapest to the most expensive one.
  • CamelCamelCamel only works on goods being sold on Amazon. To use it, type in the URL of the product you want to check the price of.

The next cheapest option is TradePoint, which is selling it for £25.84, and after that it is Screwfix which has it on sale for £43.

It comes after we spotted an outdoor grill and smoker BBQ at B&Q for just over £100 which you can order online.

The grill allows you to cook different types of food faster, and it comes with a handy thermometer.

There’s a resting table so you can enjoy some refreshment whilst your steaks are sizzling too.

Meanwhile, Kingfisher, the retail company that owns B&Q, recently announced plans to open more stores on the high street.

It said it wanted to open more compact style B&Q Local branches, after opening nine in the UK in 2023.
