But some people are concerned about the cost of running one.

“Great price but what with the electricity increase no one can afford to run them.”

We’ve previously looked at how much it costs to run a hot tub – and it’s definitely not the cheapest appliance in your home.

Luckily, one individual who already owns one, shared some tips for saving money:

“I thought I’d share my experience. I bought an adapter for a few quid off to allow me to fill it with hot water from the tap.

“I set the boiler temp to 40 degrees and it takes about an hour or so to fill.

“According to the smart meter it cost me £0.70p to fill it, we’re on water rates so no extra cost to fill.”

She added: “I set mine at 35 degrees when I’m not using it, and turn it up to 39 a couple of hours before I plan to use it.

“It costs roughly £3-4 a day when I don’t use it and £5-6 a day when I do use it.”

Running costs are just one thing you should factor in when making a big purchase like a hot tub.

You should always be sure to shop around for better deals and check whether there are voucher codes or cashback offers that could get you more money off.

Check delivery costs too and remember to factor that into the price.

And, make sure you find out the dimensions of the hot tub so you know it fits in your garden or outside space.
