LONG weekends are the perfect time to get stuck into that DIY you have been planning, and Easter is no exception.
B&Q operates a home delivery, but are stores and services open over the Easter weekend?
What are the B&Q Easter 2022 opening times?
When you have the day off due to a bank holiday, it can be confusing as to whether or not the shops are open.
We’ve broken down whether or not B&Q is open each day on the Easter weekend.
Good Friday
All stores will be open on Good Friday except for Jersey.
B&Q has said that the stores are open as normal with a closing time of 8pm.
The Jersey store will be closed all day on Good Friday.
It’s always a good idea to check the local store finder before heading out to avoid any disappointment
Easter Saturday
On Easter Saturday, all stores across the UK will be open, including Jersey.
Normal hours are in operation so stores will be open 7am until 8pm.
These hours might vary slightly so always check with your local store.

Easter Sunday
Under trading rules, shops over a certain size are required to shut on Easter Sunday and on Christmas Day in England, Wales and Northern Ireland (there are no restrictions in Scotland).
Therefore all the major DIY shops will be shut on Easter Sunday and B&Q is no exception.
You can still order from their website but you will not be able to get a delivery on Sunday.
Easter Monday
It is back to usual operating hours on Easter Monday, with all stores open full hours once again.
The store’s usual opening times can range from 7am-8pm but again you’re best off checking with their store finder to see when your closest is open .
Is B&Q doing home delivery over Easter?
Home delivery is operating as normal over the Easter break, but it might mean your order takes a bit longer than usual.
Standard delivery costs £5, but it’s free for orders over £50.
B&Q can usually deliver on a typical Sunday but it is very unlikely they will be completing any orders for Easter Sunday with their stores being closed on the day.
For orders that are larger than a parcel, the store offer a named day delivery service but the cost might go up to £10 depending on how big all of your new DIY gear is.
Delivery times for this service range from three days to five weeks so it’s unlikely you’ll get your order in time for the Easter celebrations anyway.
