With an interior design that is likely to take your breath away, some of the properties’ main living areas are kitted out with beautiful marble flooring and furniture.

Grand jet-black doors and a fireplace adorn one of the home’s many open spaces with a suitably arty bathroom to match.

Built in 1952, the Kansas property has been kitted out with the latest fittings and even has it’s own basement styled “family room”.

Included is a functional garage as well plenty of space in garden – boasting almost half an acre of land.

However, house hunters should be aware that they’ll need to get creative with some parts of the unusually large dwelling that has unfinished kitchen units and bathrooms units.

Estate agents Zillow says: “With some TLC and adding your touch you will have a fantastic property to enjoy for years to come.”

The Sun previously reported how one British Mum converted her old garden shed into a “mini mansion” as an self-made present for her 50th birthday.

Built and furnished for less than £1,000, Sonia Walker, from Rushden in Northants, became the talk of the town for her interior design skills.

Speaking in 2017, she said she loved nothing more than to escape from her male-dominated household and used the building to enjoy a glass of wine or a spot of afternoon tea with girlfriends in her glamorous “she cave”.

She said: “Our old shed was quite dilapidated so we were looking for a new one but everything I wanted was way out of our price range.

“Then my husband offered to build me one for my 50th birthday. We really went to town on it but all the while I had upcycling and recycling in mind as I hate waste.

“In the end the whole thing including the interior cost under £1,000.

“All of the furniture and decor I either bought online or from car boot sales and charity shops.”
