BOOTS has slashed the price of some designer gift sets by more than half – ideal for last minute shoppers.
Estée Lauder, Ted Baker and No7 are just some of the brands that are in the pre-Christmas sale.

The discounts can be bought online and in store as long as they’re still in stock.
Boots shops remain open across the UK regardless of local coronavirus lockdown restrictions because it is considered to be an essential retailer.
Opening hours may vary though so it’s worth checking when your local branch is open using the locator tool.
Online shoppers will need to take into account the delivery costs which will eat into any savings made.
How to compare prices to get the best deal
JUST because something is on offer, or is part of a sale, it doesn’t mean it’s always a good deal.
There are plenty of comparison websites out there that’ll check prices for you – so don’t be left paying more than you have to.
Most of them work by comparing the prices across hundreds of retailers.
Here are some that we recommend:
- Google Shopping is a tool that lets users search for and compare prices for products across the web. Simply type in keywords, or a product number, to bring up search results.
- Price Spy logs the history of how much something costs from over 3,000 different retailers, including Argos, Amazon, eBay and the supermarkets. Once you select an individual product you can quickly compare which stores have the best price and which have it in stock.
- Idealo is another website that lets you compare prices between retailers. All shoppers need to do is search for the item they need and the website will rank them from the cheapest to the most expensive one.
- CamelCamelCamel only works on goods being sold on Amazon. To use it, type in the URL of the product you want to check the price of.
Boots charges between £3.50 and £5.50 for the service depending on when you want it to arrive.
Shoppers should also be aware that December 23 is the final date gifts can be ordered to arrive before Christmas, although this isn’t guaranteed.
Alternatively, you can pay £1.50 for click and collect on orders over £20.

Normally, it would set you back £80 but it’s currently in the sale for £37.
It means shoppers will save a nifty £43 – or 53% – on the beauty set.
Boots reckons all of the beauty gifts inside are worth £96 if you bought them separately.
For example, the Advance night repair eye supercharged complex would cost you £46 outside the set – that’s more than the entire gift set in the sale.
The set is exclusive to Boots so you won’t be able to find it cheaper elsewhere.
No7 Men Ultimate Grooming Collection gift set
- Was: £42. Now: £20. Save: £22 (52%) – buy now

The No7 Men Ultimate Grooming Collection gift set now costs £20, instead of £42.
The mega discount means shoppers can save £22, or 52%, on the self-care kit.
No7 is a Boots exclusive brand so you won’t be able to find the same set cheaper anywhere else.

The Ted Baker About Town Toiletries Travel Pouch gift set has also been reduced by 52% in the sale.
The set, which comes with eight designer grooming products such as deodorant, body spray and body wash, was priced at £42 but now costs £22.
The only place we could find the same gift set available to buy is on eBay but it will set you back £38.99.
Unfortunately, the set is sold out online but Boots says you may be able to find it in store.
Shoppers can check if it’s available by clicking the “find in store” button next to the product and typing in their postcode.
Ted Baker Opulent Obsession box gift set

The Ted Baker Opulent Obsession box gift set has been reduced by £23 in the sale. It now costs £22, down from £45.
The set comes with nine different beauty products, including a mini blush and bronze duo, mascara, nude lip gloss and eyelash curlers.
The same set will set you back £37.19 on Amazon so you’re better off heading to Boots.
