B&M shared the new addition, which also includes a Bounty cake, to their Facebook page and users were itching to give them a go.

The post was met with just under 300 comments and more than 360 likes.

B&M asked shoppers which one of the two cakes they would like to try.

One wrote: “Saw these in Asda last night and they were amazing.”

A fourth wrote: “I would pick both as bounty and Mars bars are my favourite chocolate.”

The Mars cake is made of malty sponge and caramel fudge pieces, as well as chocolate chips.

It’s said to be the “perfect” post dinner treat or why not have a slice as a yummy afternoon snack.

Several shoppers also commented that the chocolate cake would be perfectly accompanied by a nice dollop of custard.

One said: “I found them dry but very nice with custard.”

And another tagged their pal and wrote: “The Mars one with custard…”

A third commented: “These with some nice custard.”

Both of the cakes cost £2 at B&M and can only be bought in store.

You can find your nearest shop using the handy store locator tool and the chain’s website.

The sweet snacks only landed in UK shops in September and shoppers have spotted them in several chains before.

Asda also carries the cakes, both for £2 – although Mars previously told The Sun the RRP is £2.50.

It also said the treats will be available at Spar, Nisa, and Heron Foods as well.

B&M has been really upping its chocolate treat game recently.

The discounter is known for selling peculiar lines of sweets including Fruit Salad wafers and Wham space babies.

And shoppers have recently spotted the retailer’s Hannah’s choc lover box on shelves.

The £5 set comes with a selection of white mice and white and milk chocolate jazzles inside.

Recently as well, Cadbury‘s Caramilk Flake was spotted on shelves in B&M, thrilling fans who are eager to get their hands on the treat.

The caramelised white chocolate curls and swirls have proved a hit in Australia and were spotted in the UK as well.

Plus, another eagle-eyed chocolate lover spotted the Cadbury Cherry Ripe bar in her local B&M store.

The Cadbury Cherry Ripe bar is not typically sold in UK stores but can be bought on Amazon and via some specialist food websites.

Back in March, choccy fans went wild after B&M began selling a “banging” brand new flavour of M&Ms.

The bargain chain was found flogging the Crunchy Honeycomb version of the popular treat only usually found in Australia.

Plus, shoppers are racing to get their hands on Quality Street chocolate tubs which are down to £3.99 in one of the UK’s cheapest supermarkets.
