B&M is selling a three piece bistro set for £45 – cheaper than similar ones sold by Aldi and Argos.

Garden furniture has been flying off retailers’ shelves with summer approaching and many shops selling out.

The set is only £45 from B&M

B&M has a rattan table and chairs set that you can pick up in-store right now for £45.

You’ll have to make a trip to the shops for this one though as B&M doesn’t deliver online orders – find your closest store with the locator tool.

Stock may be limited, so you may want to call ahead and check before you visit.

The set includes a glass top table which is perfect for resting a summery cocktail on, standing at approximately 70cm tall.

It’s a compact furniture set too, so even if you have a smaller back yard or want to place the new bistro set on a balcony, it’ll fit right in with your garden decor.

Argos' set is almost identical for £5 more

Argos’ set is almost identical for £5 more

We found that Argos is selling an almost identical copy of the set with the rattan features for £50.

This one also includes a glass-top table and two chairs, which you can remove the legs from for more compact storage after you’ve had your summer fun with the set.

But you’ll have to bear in mind the extra charge for home delivery which can cost from £3.95 – check your postcode when you go to checkout as the set is very limited for delivery.

You can very easily pick up the bistro collection from your local Argos though, with the free click and collect service the store runs – just look up your nearest with the finder tool.

Aldi has also been competing with retailers to have the cheapest garden furniture this summer, but the store’s least expensive bistro set, which is £70, is already sold out.

This one is a slightly different style as it’s metal all over and doesn’t feature the rattan details but it’s been a popular seller and has 62 five-star reviews.

Shoppers will be pleased to know however, that the sell-out set is returning on Sunday, so if you don’t mind splashing out the extra £24.99 that is is compared to B&M’s, then the Aldi bargain could be yours to nab too.

At Homebase a similar set to the B&M style and Argos’ costs £80, so you could be making a saving of £35 and almost half price at the discount retailer.

Argos also has an alternative metal version of the garden furniture set and it is half the price of one at Wilko’s.

The store is beating competitors all over as it is also selling a three person swing seat for £75 which is £40 cheaper than The Range.

And if you’re looking for more garden furniture inspiration then Aldi is selling a cheap rattan garden tiki bar.
