BLACK Friday is the perfect time to pick up an top-grade VPN deal.
So if you want to secure your online browsing and save some cash while you’re at it, read on.
As all dedicated deal-hunters know, Black Friday is the absolute high point of the sales calendar.
During the late-November sales frenzy, you’ll find literally thousands of tech products with their prices slashed, and VPNs are no exception.
These online tools are essential buys for anybody who values their online security, and as a general rule, are relatively affordable in cost (especially if you pay for longer-term, 1-year or 2-year plans).
But if you really want to keep your VPN costs to a minimum, it’s worth taking a look at any special offers that are floating around during the Black Friday period.
In this article, we’ve listed a selection of VPN deals live right now, and we’ll keep our list refreshed as we draw closer to Black Friday itself.

When is Black Friday 2022?
This year, Black Friday will be taking place on Friday 25 November.
As ever, it will take place on the day immediately after American Thanksgiving – Black Friday being a Stateside tradition originally.
It has been taking place in the US since the 1960s, before growing bigger and bigger in the UK over the last decade.
When is Cyber Monday 2022?
Cyber Monday always falls on the weekend after Black Friday.
Historically, this was a day of online deals, while the majority of Black Friday offers took place exclusively in-store.
These days, however, there’s very little distinction to be made between the two sales days – it’s very rare for any deals to be only available in stores themselves.
Indeed, we’ve noticed that Cyber Monday has waned in significance in recent years: you might still find some fresh deals emerge online, but if you see a discount you like before then, don’t wait to see if it improves.
Is Black Friday a good time to buy a VPN?
If you’re super-keen on saving cash, it’s the perfect opportunity.
Believe us when we say that the VPN industry is ruthlessly competitive, and each leading brand will be clamouring to eclipse one another with the hottest deals and discounts.
We’re excited to see just how low subscription prices drop when the late-November sale comes around.
Should I wait until Black Friday to buy a VPN?
Given that Black Friday is still several months away, we would only recommend that you wait that long if you’re not in serious need of a VPN service.
Most VPN brands tend to run a promotion on their longer-term subscription plans: those that last 1, 2 or even 3 years.
These are considerably cheaper than the one-month rolling plans – you can potentially save around 80% by comparison.
These aren’t deals in the strictest sense: they’re simply a way of enticing buyers to commit to their services for longer.
