SHOPPERS have spotted a hanging egg chair slashed by £150 – and it’s perfect for summer.

The Range is stocking its Selene hanging egg chair for 40% less – now costing £199.99.

Reduced from £350, shoppers will be flocking to bag the bargain from the furniture retailer.

But you’ll need to be quick – it might sell out as we creep closer to summer.

It weighs about 30kg – so bear that in mind if you’re planning to move it around – and it’s 184cm tall and 120cm wide.

Make sure you have enough space first – it would be a disaster to buy it before realising it doesn’t fit.

You’ll also need to build it yourself, but this shouldn’t take long and there will be an instruction manual to help.

We’ve asked The Range whether it’s sold in stores too or exclusively online, and we’ll update this when we know more.

To find your nearest store, use the locator tool on The Range’s website.

Don’t forget to factor in delivery costs when ordering home – since it’s a large item, it’ll set you back another £9.95 to have the chair delivered within 10 days.

But this will go up by another tenner if you’d prefer express delivery.

And make sure to only buy it if you were after one in the first place – if not, there’s no saving involved, and you’re splashing out on an unnecessary £200.

It’s worth shopping around elsewhere to keep your options open. As warm weather approaches, many retailers will be thinking about summer sales.

You can use tools like Google Shopping or PriceRunner to explore other prices from similar businesses.

For example, Aldi’s famous egg chair costs the same as The Range’s.

This might be an option if The Range sells out or vice versa.

Elsewhere we spotted a bigger egg chair from Amazon for just £100.99.

This one’s waterproof – so you can stick it outside – and it’s big enough for two people.

Don’t forget about added delivery fees, of course.

But if you’re comfortable shopping at The Range, we also spotted a Rattan Effect Swing Egg Chair with Stand for £179.99.

That means it’s £20 cheaper than the other chair, but bear in mind it’s a bit different from the £200 one.

The Rattan Effect version doesn’t hang from a chain – it’s got a stand instead.

But it’s 111cm tall and 94cm wide and you’d be getting a £35 discount if you bought it now.

Also, Home Bargains is selling its own egg chair that’s £75 cheaper than Aldi’s.

The chair is available to buy online from the Home Bargains website, but remember that you may have to pay an additional delivery fee.

The chair is also available in store, but it’s best to phone ahead to check the stock levels so you’re not disappointed.

You can find your nearest Home Bargains store by using the handy store locator tool on the supermarket’s website.
