SHOPPERS are feeling the pinch as prices in the supermarket creep up.
To help households keep down the cost of their weekly groceries, we’ve rounded up the top supermarket discount codes and offers.

Rising price have spurred on by inflation and the cost of living crisis, mean that the cost of a weekly shop has soared – with annual food bills increasing by around £533.
There are ways shoppers can combat the costs, from yellow sticker bargains to schemes and grants that offer the most hard-up a helping hand.
You can shop around and see what each supermarket is promoting from month to month, and target your spending wisely on the cheapest offers.
Here are all the discounts codes and offers that you can cash-in on at your favourite supermarkets this month and beyond.
Sainsbury’s
Sainsbury’s is offering £15 off your first online order if you spend more than £60.
All you need to do is enter the code SCSEO22AU15 at the online checkout.
The offer is available nationwide, but you’ll have to be quick as it’s set to run out on Wednesday, August 31.
It’s also important to remember you will have to pay for delivery, which ranged from £1 to £7 depending on the slot you choose.

Sainsbury’s also regularly slashes the price on more than 1,000 of its items.
This is known as the price lock and it takes place online, and in store, every eight weeks.
It’s part of the supermarket’s pledge to price match Aldi.
Iceland
Iceland is currently offering £5 off orders that tot up to at least £45 online.
To claim, you have to make sure your basket meets the minimum spend requirement before you then apply the code “HIFIVE.
The catch is it’s only available for new customers though, so you’ll only be able to knock off a fiver if this is your first time shopping with Iceland.
Delivery is free nationwide on all orders over £40.
Loyal customers don’t have to miss out though, the frozen supermarket is giving away free £30 vouchers to use in its supermarkets.
Over 60s will be able to get 10% off their shop every Tuesday if they can prove their age by bringing along a document such as a driving license, passport or bus card.
Iceland said the move was to help older people who are struggling to cope in the cost of living crisis.
Tesco
Tesco has little-known weekly offers called “Weekly Little Helps” that change each week.
Some lower prices are only available for Clubcard members, but this is usually clearly stated on the Tesco website.
For example, at the moment, Tesco has tubes of sour cream and onion and original Pringles at £1.65 for Clubcard members, instead of £2.
These deals are available both online and instore, but be aware that online orders carry a delivery charge and a £4 fee if your order comes to under £40.

Tesco introduced Clubcard Prices in 2019 where prices are discounted in store and online for members only.
To find the best discounts, all products included in Clubcard Prices in store will be marked with a promotion label.
Offers will also be highlighted for shoppers buying online.
Asda
People that work in the NHS, Emergency Services, Social Services, Social care sector and armed forces will all get 10 per cent discount in Asda stores.
The discount is valid across all Asda supermarkets in the UK.
As well as food, Asda announced that George clothing, homeware, and toys are also included in the discount offer.
But if you qualify for this discount don’t worry, Asda still has offers available to all customers.
Shoppers at Asda will find the same prices on more than 100 items as the supermarket as they do in Home Bargains.
The latest price match includes branded items like Lenor, Johnson’s baby shampoo and Dettol wipes.
Shoppers can keep a track of these offers by visiting Asda’s website and searching for price match.
Morrisons
Shoppers can get £10 off their first online shop at Morrisons when they spend £50 or more.
You will be sent a voucher code by email to redeem on your shop.
But to get the offer, you must be a new customer and place your first order between now and September 24.
You will also be given an extra £20 off across your next three shops when you sign up for Morrisons latest offers via email.
Remember you will be charged a delivery fee, which can vary depending on the time of day you book your slot.
The supermarket is also warning shoppers that the discount won’t be applied if they buy any of the following: Pharmaceutical, tobacc, firework, alcohol, stamp or Infant Milk/Formula

It’s free to sign up and shoppers can receive digital coupons that can be used for instant savings in stores.
Lidl
Lidl shoppers can get up to £12 off at the discount supermarket when you spend up to £200 in a calendar month.
The offer is available to new and existing users of the Lidl Plus App – which can be downloaded from the App Store for Apple users or Google Play for people with an Android.
If you spend £100 in a Lidl store, you will be given a £2 coupon.
Spending a further £100 – a total of £200 – you will be given a £10 voucher.
To keep track of your spending, scan your virtual card at the till or self-service till each time you shop.
The vouchers should appear automatically in the coupons section of the app and you’ll have seven days to spend them.
While it’s nice to be given a voucher, you should only spend what you need to – don’t spend extra just to get the offer.
Lidl also uploads weekly offers to its app and customers can get 30% off all in-store bakery items Monday to Saturday.
If you sign up to the Lidl newsletter, it will email you special promotional offers and competitions, so you can get in there first.
Simple tips will help you save on your supermarket spends.
Shopping around is one of the best way to slash spends – research from Which? showed that you could be paying £9 more for the same items if you shopped at Waitrose compared to Aldi for example.
You can also use food waste apps that offer reduced food that shops would only have thrown away at the end of the day.
You can also try planning your meals, or taking advantage of supermarket loyalty schemes.
You should also keep in mind that these savings are only worth the while if you were planning on shopping anyway – you don’t want to go over budget splashing out on a £40 shop JUST to get the £5 off for example.
