GARDEN furniture, awnings and gazebos alike have been in high demand ahead of the summer, but you can still pick up some bargains.

Now that “freedom day” has been pushed back to July 19, the rule of six indoors is still in place, meaning your soiree must stay outside for now.

You can pick up a new gazebo from as little as £20

And with the mini-heatwave set to end in a deluge of thunderstorms and rain on Thursday, you’ll need something to protect your guests from the elements.

A garden gazebo can provide the shelter you may need outside while still keeping to the current rules on gatherings of up to 30 people.

We’ve put together a list of the best deals on garden gazebos you can pick up right now, but you’ll want to be quick to cash in on the bargain prices.

As always you’ll want to shop around first as just because something looks like a steal, it doesn’t mean it’s the best price on offer for the same product.

How to compare prices to get the best deal

JUST because something is on offer, or is part of a sale, it doesn’t mean it’s always a good deal.

There are plenty of comparison websites out there that’ll check prices for you – so don’t be left paying more than you have to.

Most of them work by comparing the prices across hundreds of retailers.

Here are some that we recommend:

  • Google Shopping is a tool that lets users search for and compare prices for products across the web. Simply type in keywords, or a product number, to bring up search results.
  • Price Spy logs the history of how much something costs from over 3,000 different retailers, including Argos, Amazon, eBay and the supermarkets. Once you select an individual product you can quickly compare which stores have the best price and which have it in stock.
  • Idealo is another website that lets you compare prices between retailers. All shoppers need to do is search for the item they need and the website will rank them from the cheapest to the most expensive one.
  • CamelCamelCamel only works on goods being sold on Amazon. To use it, type in the URL of the product you want to check the price of.

It’s also worth noting that when opting for a cheap gazebo, it wont have the same long lasting use that something like a more expensive pergola structure would have.

Many retailers warn that you should remove your gazebo from your garden when not in use to prevent damage if the weather takes a turn, but luckily a lot of our choices are easy to store away again.

Check out the list below to see what bargains you could be snapping up.

Studio is selling the cheapest gazebo we could find right now

Studio is selling a large party gazebo for only £20, it’s made from polyester fabric and it’s designed to be waterproof with UV15 sun protection too.

It’s supposed to be nice and sturdy too, as it has a strong steel structure with a height of 2.5 meters and a width of 2.7 meters.

One shopper left a review saying the gazebo takes no longer than 10 minutes to put up and take back down again. Quite sturdy and the top fits snuggly over the top.

The gazebo also has velcro straps sewn inside if you want to purchase the sides separately but if you’re looking for something under a £20 budget the extra quirks might take you over that.

Standard UK delivery costs £4.99 from Studio though so you’ll have to factor this in.

B&M is selling a £25 gazebo that’s quick and easy to assemble, and the price includes poles and cover.

The bargain buy is 2.35 meters in height and approximately 2.35 meters in width.

Unfortunately you can’t shop online at B&M, that means you’ll have to make a trip out to the store to pick up the gazebo for the bargain price.

On the bright side it does mean no extra delivery charges – use B&M’s store finder to work out where your closest one is.

Argos – Home Garden Gazebo

Argos’ cheapest gazebo option is also only £25 and it’s easy to assemble and showerproof.

But the retailer does warn not to use it during windy conditions as it’s just not sturdy enough to cope with the force.

It is made from metal though and stands at 2.5 meters in height and it’s 2.7 meters in width, plus it only weighs 5.3kg so it’s nice and light to move about.

You will have to remember that you’ll have to pay from £3.95 on top of the £25 price tag for delivery, unless you opt for the store’s free click and collect option – just use the store locator to find your closest.

B&Q – Suhali Square Gazebo

B&Q is selling a gazebo that measures 2.4 meters by three meters and it comes in a nice neutral white colour to compliment your garden.

The gazebo is set to be stress free and easy to put up, and you should be able to assemble it with only one person.

Taking it down is easy too and should only take around 15 minutes to do so.

Delivery is a bit more expensive from B&Q though as it cost another £5 on top, that’s unless you spend more than £50 as it’s free for any orders over that amount, but you’d have to spend another £19 to qualify.

Aldi’s gazebo option has an easy-to-assemble foldable design, the frame is made from aluminium and the roof section is steel with white powder coating.

The Gardenline gazebo is approximately 3 meters wide and 2.6 meters tall, it’s also 15kg in weight if you find you need to move it from place to place.

Plus the more expensive £60 gazebo comes with sheltering sides too.

The only issue is that it is completely sold out online at Aldi, but you can use the store’s checker tool to see where it’s still available to pick up in-store.

That means you’ll save on extra delivery charges that Aldi usually adds to its specialbuys too.

If you’re staying outside with your guests it might get a bit more nippy in the evening so make sure you check out our round-up of the best patio heaters, so you’re fully equipped.

Before the restrictions are eased this time round, you’ll be able to get your hands on Aldi’s newest hanging egg chair, it’s a two-seater as well so you’ll be able to snuggle up with another outside.

You’ve got the cover but now you need a swish new garden furniture set for eveyone to enjoy – Lidl is selling a rattan sofa set up to £70 cheaper than rivals including Aldi and Tesco that you won’t want to miss.
