Shoppers were stunned to see strange new festive Walkers flavours on Aldi with some suggesting one flavour might be a step too far. 

Aldi is selling the multipacks of the Walkers sweet and spiced Christmas pudding-flavoured crisps, which contain five packs of the limited edition crisps, for £1.65.

You can also get multipacks of the Pigs in Blankets flavour and festive Turkey-flavoured crisps for the same price. 

Walkers crisps have been know for pushing boundaries when it comes to different flavours.

Some of their previous weird and wacky flavours include Cajun squirrel and even mince pies last Christmas.

Infused with thyme and rosemary for a festive tang, the crisps are hand-cooked for a perfect crunch.

These are available in Waitrose stores for a pricey £3.

After one crunch you should taste a blend of black pepper, cayenne pepper, ginger and clove.

These will be available from November 8 for £1 from Co-op as will the rest of Co-ops Christmas range.

It’s worth checking ahead with your local supermarket if they have what you’re looking for in stock before you go to avoid a wasted trip.
