Homebase, Dunelm and Argos are among the shops where you’ll find money off loads of homeware, including soft furnishings and furniture.
We spotted up to 60% off some items at the DIY store as it’s bank holiday discounts apply to items that are already on sale too.
Of course, it’s only a good deal if you were looking for it in the first place – you’re not saving money if you don’t need it.
Plus it pays to shop around so you know you’re getting the best price, even when an item is discounted.
Even when you see a bargain, it’s always worth double checking if you can get it cheaper elsewhere.
You can use websites like Google Shopping, Price Spy, Idealo and CamelCamelCamel to compare prices.
Other people often share the bargains and deals they’ve found on Facebook groups like Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, Latest Deals and deals websites like hotukdeals.
Don’t forget too that if you’re buying anything online you might have to pay the cost of delivery on top.

But that’s on top of already discounted items, so the total savings on some items adds up to much more.
We spotted this sleek looking bar stool in the clearance reduced from £50 to just under £20.
With 20% off that’s another £4.99 reduction making it £19.94 and giving you a total discount of 60% all in.
This stool comes in teal, orange and pink velvet with metal frame that has a gold chrome finish.
This is the cheapest we spotted this particular style of stool and the next closest in price is from Dunelm at £59.
Lobster cushion – buy now

At Homebase this cushion printed with a gold lobster is on sale and has an extra 20% off on top.
Measuring 45cm by 45cm, it is made of polyester and comes in a dark shade of blue.
This is the cheapest we found lobster cushions on sale for.
Hexagon mirror – buy now

There’s up to 50% off homeware at Dunelm, including this fun hexagon shape mirror.
The modern design is made with MDF and glass, measuring 60cm by 52 cm, and has gained a customer review rating of 4.9 stars out of five on the Dunelm website.
This is the cheapest spotted of this type of mirror. The Range is selling a hexagon mirror for £9.99, but it’s wooden and is smaller than Dunelm’s.

You don’t have to spend a lot to get a discount and this cute little sign is less than £1 at Dunelm.
Customers have given this 4.9 stars out of five and have called it amazing value for money.
This is the cheapest sign of this design and size that we could find online.

It comes with the bulb and sits 46cm tall, with one reviewer describing it as “incredible value for money”.
Wilko is selling a similar style lamp for almost the same price at £12, reduced from £15.
French bulldog lamp – buy now

The metal base has a pewter finish and there’s a black lampshade on top – you’ll have to buy a bulb separately though as it doesn’t come with one.
This is the cheapest we found this lamp style made of metal, though you can find cheaper with a ceramic base.

Currys PCWorld has it on offer as part of its “Epic deals” over the bank holiday weekend.
It comes in black, cream, red and this bright pink colour, and don’t forget, you’ll have to factor in the ongoing cost of buying coffee pods too.
