BUDDY The Elf makes a surprise appearance in Asda’s new Christmas advert for 2022 – and fans say it’s the best one yet.
Viewers have taken to social media to praise the supermarket’s festive campaign, with some saying it even beats previous John Lewis ads.
Asda’s latest Christmas advert sees the return of Will Ferrell’s character Buddy the Elf from the movies under the same name.

Will Ferell didn’t have to film a single scene – but he did ensure that he had a say over the final product.
And if the social media reaction is anything to go by, this year’s offering could be even more popular.

Another Facebook user said: “Forget about the John Lewis Christmas ad, Asda have just nailed Christmas for this year.”
