ASDA will create 10,000 new jobs as it announces plans to open hundreds more convenience stores.
The supermarket giant is set to open 300 more Asda Express stores, creating thousands of jobs over the next four years.

Asda opened its latest Express store, in Tottenham Hale, north London, today.
It followed the launch of its first convenience store in Sutton Coldfield in November.
The stores will stock around 3,000 products, including a fresh food, as well as products from Asda’s premium Extra Special range and beers, wines and spirits.
Shoppers are able to buy a range of hot and cold takeaway food options from Asda and partner brands including Leon.
The stores will also sell ready meals and a selection of £10 meal deals for two people.
Some will also offers parcel collection, return services and a grocery delivery service through Uber Eats.
Mohsin Issa, Asda’s co-owner said: “With more than three quarters of the UK population visiting a convenience store in the last 12 months, the potential for growth in this market is significant.
“Our ambition is to become the convenience destination of choice by providing shoppers great value and a comprehensive and convenient range of products and services under one roof.”

The new Asda Express stores are fully owned and operated by Asda.
They are separate from the Asda On the Move convenience sites, which you’ve seen on garage forecourts that are owned and operated by EG Group.
Asda previously announced it was to take over 132 Co-ops, but the supermarket confirmed that these stores are separate from the deal.
It isn’t the only supermarket moving into the convenience sector.
Morrisons is set to close 132 McColl’s stores leaving 1,300 jobs at risk after buying the convenience chain earlier this year.
Last month, Tesco cut 325 jobs as part of a major shake-up as part of plans to recruit thousands of temporary workers over Christmas.
