One woman posted the find to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group.

She shared a photo of the cosy sets with the reduction labels showing the bargain prices.

The savvy shopper had managed to pick up two sets of the bedding, a single for £1.40 and a double for £1.80.

The post was met with hundreds of shoppers itching to get their hands on the “bargains”.

We found the bedding online and a single duvet usually costs £14 and a double is £18, so these are major savings.

The duvet sets appear to be on sale at different Asda locations across the country.

It is likely that you’ll only be able to bag the bedding at these prices at certain stores which are looking to clear stock.

You can only pick the duvets up in store as they are unavailable on the website.

It’s worth calling ahead to your local Asda to check their prices and stock to avoid disappointment.

You can find your closest store using the locator tool on its website.

Reviews for the products online describe the snuggly sets as “warm and cosy on very cold nights” and “really super soft”.

It comes as temperatures have dropped again this week and people are looking for ways to stay warm without putting the heating on.

Cosy duvets and blankets like this can really help keep you warm but they can be pretty pricey.

You can find similar brushed cotton bedding sets at retailers including Wayfair for £14.99 or Argos for £28.

Unsurprisingly, Asda’s discounted price is the cheapest we could find for a duvet set like this.

As always before committing to a purchase we recommend having a shop around first – there’s never a bad time to bag a bargain.

You can use handy tools like Google shopping to compare prices of online retailers to make sure you’re getting the deal.
