Asda shoppers are racing to their nearest store to get their hands on children’s items scanning for cheap at the till. 

Lillian May alerted people to the sale as she took to social media to show off the incredible array of items she managed to get.

Dumping her loot on her leather car seat, viewers could see a Nintendo Switch case, a Barbie bag and several other children’s items as well as some cleaning supplies. 

In the caption, she revealed the price for each one, explaining that the case was £3.75, the Barbie bag was £1.66, the car air freshener was £2.50, while the room fresheners were £1.75. 

She noted that the Angel dessert was £1.47 from the retail giant while the water bottle was just 12p. 

Another woman, Lisa Shaw, also revealed the bargain she managed to get her hands on as she posted a snap of an Oral-B electric toothbrush for kids.

“My bargains today £2 tooth brush replacement heads 2 at £1 each £4 for this little lot RRP 20 toothbrush not sure of heads replacement Asda uttoxeter,” she wrote. 

People were amazed at the buys the two women got their hands on and flocked to the comments to share their thoughts. 

“Cheers for this,” one person wrote. 

Another said: “asda have this deal on at the moment xx,” before tagging a pal.

A third shared: “They must all scan at the till rather than show on the shelf’s.” 

And others were left disappointed as they couldn’t find the same deals on from their own branches. 

“Been to Halifax Asda, no reductions there,” one shared with a crying face emoji, while a second chimed: “None to be had in Newport either,” followed by a sad face emoji. 

Meanwhile, some have been racing to Tesco to get their hands on £10 foldable camping chairs scanning for just £2.50.

And others have spotted an air fryer reduced from £29 to just £15 at B&M.
