ASDA shoppers are going wild for dupes of a popular Greggs item that costs just 30p.

The supermarket giant is selling its own range of pastry dupes and some fans say they are even better than the real thing.

The frozen dupes are sold to be cooked at home and cost just £1.05 for a pack of four which works out just under 30p each.

One fan of the snack shared a post to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group.

They recommended that the sausage roll dupes were a “delicious snack” and would make a great “easy dinner for the kids” with some chips and beans.

One person added: “They are yummy, especially at that price.”

And another said: “The boys would love these.”

A third person commented: “These are really nice, I’ve bought multiple times.”

We checked on the Asda website to see what other Greggs dupes were in the range.

You can also get steak and gravy bakes, chicken bakes, and cheese and onion bakes.

They are all sold in packs of two and priced at £1.45.

It is always worth shopping around to make sure that you are getting the best deal.

You can check prices at most online supermarkets using the price comparison site Trolley.co.uk.

We had a look at other supermarkets to see if they were offering similar products.

Iceland does not have dupes of the Greggs product but it does have the real thing.

Greggs sausage rolls are available to buy online in a pack of four for £3.50, it also has a pack of eight for £6.

The frozen food specialist also has other Greggs items such as steak bakes, sausage and bean melts, chicken bakes and mini sausage rolls.

All items are priced at £3.50 per pack or you can get four for £10 and also mix and match.

Aldi has some options too, the retailer has two Crestwood cheese and onion bakes and a pack of two sausage and bean melts both priced at £1.35.

We also found a pack of four Birds Eye sausage rolls priced at £2.40 on the Tesco website, but that is over £1 cheaper than the ones in Asda.

Meanwhile, shoppers have been rushing to Aldi to buy some newly launched fast food alternatives.

The discount retailer has added a Double Cheese Burger and Chicken Burger Southern Fried to its “fakeaway” range.
