ASDA shoppers are going wild for giant packs of biscuit favourites which scan for just 22p at the tills.
A customer spotted the huge packets of Elkes Biccies at an Asda branch in York.
Each pack was on sale for 22p, containing custard cream, malted milk and shortcake biscuits – with a whole pallet adding up to just £2.64.
The shopper said: “Today’s bargain at Asda York, 22p a pack – and yes there’s a pallet full, dated September.”
Other bargain-hunters spotted the 22p biscuits as far afield as Southampton, Portsmouth, Norwich and Middlesbrough.
One said: “I was able to get a six-pack and took two to my nan and grandad.

“I’ve never seen them so happy.”
Another said: “They’re 12p in Morrisons.”
A third said: “Nope. None of this stuff is ever in our Asda.”
The Elkes family has been making biscuits at its factory in the Staffordshire market town of Uttoxeter for more than a century.
