ASDA shoppers are stripping the shelves bare of a laundry essential scanning for just £1 per box.

The offer has customers in a spin as they flock to social media to share their delight.

Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK broke news of the incredible deal.

A woman posted a picture of the Persil bio washing powder price and it has the internet in a spin.

The post, captioned, “Right place. Right time. £1.00 a box. Asda Aberdare,” has more than 300 likes and nearly 90 comments.

One shopper seemed surprised and commented: “I got it at £3.75 and I thought that was a bargain.”

Another congratulated the woman writing: “WOW well done, that’s a fantastic bargain.”

A third was keen to bag the bargain asking: “Was there any more there please?”

But it seemed she was too late as the woman replied: “The cage was empty as I was by the tills but not sure if they had any more to bring out.”

It comes as Morrisons shoppers are being treated to £10 off their next shop.

The supermarket’s app users have been rushing to their local store to make the most of the deal.

But there is a catch.

Customers must first spend £40 and the deal is only relevant in store.

One shopper said: “Just checked my Morrinson’s app and found a nice little £10 off a £40 shop, great just before payday.”

However, not all app users appear to have received the offer.

Those who join Morrisons More and download the app will earn more points on selected products in store, online and on fuel.

Usually, members have to reach 5,000 points to get a fiver off their shop.

They also get other offers which can be found in the app or on coupons printed at the checkout.

And one savvy mum has found Bluey toys in Asda for less than £20 though, which your kids will absolutely love.

Despite this, not everyone was thrilled when Stephanie shared the bargain buy on Facebook.

Originally posting in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, she revealed that she’d found a Bluey’s Kitchen Set at her local supermarket.

Based on the adorable kids’ cartoon, this plastic playset has a built-in Bluey shaped fridge with opening doors, hobs and even a sink to keep your kids occupied for hours.

It also has shelves and hooks to put crockery onto, as well as a hidden smoothie maker tucked underneath the hob.
