The much-loved supermarket has been ridiculed after advertising £28,163 an hour for stacking shelves.
Asda seemingly offered the competitive salary to keen jobseekers, the Mirror reported.
It could have seen one successful candidate earn £58,579,040-a-year based on a standard 40-hour week.
Sadly, it seems to have been a mistake.
The store assistant vacancy was posted on online job site Indeed on Wednesday.
The “competitive salary” for the part-time night shift work in Swansea well surpassed the hourly rate of the average UK wage.
But if you apply for the job on the Asda site, the wage drops to £13.54 an hour.
Customers have been quick to comment, criticising the store for their error.

One shopper commented: “They are really taking the increase in living wage seriously.”
A second chimed in: “I think I could get by on that wage.”
A third added: “Indeed is painful to post on but I’d take them up if it’s a real offer.”
It wasn’t the only shocking revelation.
Other store assistant jobs adverted similar odd wages – with £26,291 in Cheltenham and £22,880 an hour offered in Bristol.
The Sun Online has contacted Asda for comment.
It comes as Asda shoppers can get £5 off their shopping through one simple trick.
The supermarket has reintroduced its £5 “first scan bonus”.
Meanwhile, shoppers have been going wild for Asda Wotsit dupes that are 65% cheaper than the real thing – but not everyone is keen.
Retailers, including Asda, often sell products that are similar in flavour to popular branded items but for less.
Plus, bargain hunters have been dashing to Asda after spotting massively reduced items in a mega sale.
And unsurprisingly they’ve been eager to show them off online – with shoppers nabbing everything from laundry products to bedding in Asda.
