ASDA is making two major changes to its cafes – and it’s great news for families.
The supermarket will offer half price adult meals from 3pm every day from tomorrow and for the whole summer, The Sun can reveal.

The deal will run from June 30 until September 4 in all 205 Asda Cafés.
This is the first time Asda has offered this deal on its main meals.
Asda is also extending its popular “Kids Eat For £1” scheme by another five months until the end of the year to help cash-strapped mums and dads.
The scheme was launched in June 2022 and has since been extended several times including over the winter and through school half term holidays.
It means a family of four will be able to eat out for less than £8.50 using the mix of the deals.
All main meals on Asda Café menus will be included in the new deal.
For example, for just £3.25 instead of £6.45, you will be able to get meals like steak and ale pie with chips and peas, fish and chips, lasagne with garlic bread and salad, or chicken tikka masala.
Mac and cheese, along with sweet potato and spinach curry, will cost just £3.12, rather than the usual £6.25.

At Asda’s Express Diners, where it offers pizzas and hot sandwiches instead of its classic selection of main meals, the deal will be valid on pizzas instead.
You will be able to get a 16 inch pizza for half price. Prices start from £8 for a margherita, so you’ll pay just £4 for the meal instead.
The deal is not valid on Express Diners’ “lunch” items such as paninis and toasties.
Asda previously told The Sun it was extending its Kids Eat For £1 scheme to the end of the summer holidays.
But it has now confirmed the deal will run every day for the rest of the year to help families struggling with the cost of living.
Unlike other restaurants and supermarket offers, there is no obligation to buy anything else to take advantage of the deal.
Kids under 16 can get a hot meal such as chicken nuggets with chips and beans or a jacket potato with cheese, as well as a piece of fruit for just £1.
Alternatively, they can choose a sandwich, drink and a piece of fruit for the same price if they don’t fancy a hot meal.
The menu now includes new treats such as a jelly pot and jelly squeeze pouch as an alternative to a packet of crisps.
Asda said it had sold more than 1.7 million kids meals for £1 as part of the scheme as of June last year.
The Kids for £1 meals peak to around 80,000 a week during school holidays from an average of 40,000 on a normal week.
Kris Comerford, Asda’s Chief Commercial Officer, said: “Our kids £1 café meal deals continue to provide a lifeline to families.
“Now with the introduction of half price adult main mains in cafés from 3pm onwards, it means we can extend our support to the whole family across the summer holidays.”

What other schemes are on offer?
Many other supermarkets and restaurants offer free or cheap meals for kids.
Morrisons offers one free children’s meal with each adult meal over £4.49.
Kids meals include fish fingers and chips, mac and cheese and bangers and mash and come with a drink and a piece of fruit.
Sainsbury’s also offers kids meals for £1, but they must be bought alongside an adult main meal, which start from £5.20. The deal is available everyday from 11.30am until close.
The Sun has asked Tesco whether it plans to extend its Kids Eat Free scheme over the summer holidays. It recently relaunched the scheme over May half term.
With the deal, parents can spend as little as 60p to get a free kids’ hot meal or cold pick and mix deal worth up to £3.50.
Popular pub chain Brewers Fayre allows two kids to get a free all-you-can-eat breakfast with one paying adult, while chain Hungry Horse offers a deal where a family of four can all eat for £15.
Some Ikea stores are currently offering a kids meal for just 95p.
Family favourite Prezzo currently offers a free three-course meal for kids who dine with a full paying adult in a deal with Mumsnet. The offer is valid until July 23.
Meanwhile, Italian chain Bella Italia lets kids eat for £1 with the purchase of any adult meal between 4pm-6pm on Monday-Thursday, as well as Saturdays and Sundays in some locations.
