ASDA stores will open at slightly different times over the Easter bank holiday weekend.

It’s important you check in with your local store as most branches are expected to have shorter hours.

We explain everything you need to know about Asda opening hours over Easter.

What time is Asda open on Good Friday?

Asda opening times will vary on Good Friday, which falls on April 2, so the supermarket hasn’t published a definitive list.

Instead, customers are being advised to check its online store locator tool to find the hours for their nearest brand.

It appears some branches will still open at 6am or 7am, and will shut as late as 11pm or midnight.

These are pretty much regular Friday shopping hours for Asda stores.

But again, make sure you check the store locator carefully as some may still have shorter opening times.

Some stores run 24 hours on a Friday but it’s unclear whether this will be the case over the Easter weekend.

How to find your nearest Asda

ASDA has more than 600 shops across the UK.

The best way to know when your local is open is to check online.

You can see the exact timings of your local Asda branch with its online store finder tool.

Type in your postcode and it will bring up your nearest store.

What time is Asda open on Easter Saturday?

Asda also hasn’t provided a list of store opening hours for Easter Saturday, which is on April 3.

When we checked a few stores using its locator tool, it appears some will still open at 6am or 7am and shut at 10pm.

Asda stores usually shut as late as midnight on Saturday nights, so some will be closing around two hours earlier on Easter Saturday.

Again, it isn’t clear if 24 hour stores are changing their hours for Easter.

What time is Asda open on Easter Sunday?

Asda told The Sun the majority of its stores will be closed on Easter Sunday this year, which will be on April 4.

Some of its stores will remain open but the supermarket has yet to confirm which ones.

Asda Sunday hours are usually from 10am until 4pm.

What time is Asda open on Easter Monday?

According to its store locator tool, Asda stores will open at 6am or 7am and shut around 8pm.

Asda stores usually open as early as 6am on a Monday, and close as late as midnight.

There are some 24 hours stores as well that stay open all day on Mondays – but again, it’s unclear what their hours will be.

Is Asda doing home delivery over Easter?

We’ve asked Asda what it’s availability for home delivery is like over Easter and we’ll update this article when we get a response.

Last year, the supermarket said it was delivering over the Easter break.

Home delivery is extremely popular across all the supermarkets due to the coronavirus crisis, with all grocers having increased their number of slots.

The supermarket has also been providing its most vulnerable shoppers with a Delivery Pass to help book home deliveries.

These are currently unavailable online due to the high demand.

If you’re having trouble booking a delivery, Asda has recommended to check in regularly as it works to increase the number of slots available.

Delivery from Asda ranges from between £1 and £6.50, depending on the time and day you choose.

Next-day click and collect starts from 50p on orders over £25.

If you spend under £25, you’ll be charged £4.
