ARGOS shoppers have been left baffled by a 43-inch 4K smart TV that appears in checkout for a “stunning” price.

Smart TVs are still pretty expensive, despite having been around a few years.

They’re ideal if you’re a regular content streamer, as they can host all your BBC iPlayer, ITVX, Netflix and Prime Video apps all on one screen.

But they also offer you the classic Freeview channels that you end up missing when you only stream.

The Bush 43-inch 4K TV is currently available on Argos for £229.99, and comes with a smart remote.

Despite it being just 8cm thick, the telly has 2 USB ports and 3 HDMI so gamers can hook up their consoles.

But it’s also compatible with Amazon’s Alexa speaker so you can use voice control whenever you can’t find the remote.

There’s even a one-year manufacturers guarantee.

Alongside it, shoppers can save an eyewatering £300 on a soundbar if they buy the pair as a bundle.

This makes the cheapest soundbar part of Argos‘ offer just £149.

One five-star reviewer, who put the telly in their bedroom, said it was even worth “going to bed early” for.

Another said: “Very good value for the price, good clear screen, not a ‘bells and whistles’ TV but that is all we needed and at the right price.”

But not everyone’s convinced.

A third reviewer said that the sound and picture quality was “not worth the money at all.”

Another wrote: “I bought this two months ago and the quality is ok but if leave the TV on same frames it leave the frame there while another video.”

While others may be salty that they missed an even sweeter TV deal Argos had been offering, which has since closed.
