ARGOS has a three person swing set for £75 which is £40 cheaper than a similar one being sold by The Range.

A new swing seat is the perfect purchase for a back-garden sun trap and Argos’ cheap price is 35% less than one of its closest competitors.

The swing seat can fit up to three people and costs £75

The Argos Home three seater has a metal frame that can be left outside no matter the weather, so you won’t have to worry about packing it away if the sunshine disappears.

For the £75 price, the swinging chair includes a grey fabric cushioned seat and canopy as well.

But on top of that, it’s going to cost you an extra £6.95 to have the swing seat delivered directly to your door.

The seat is unavailable for collection at the moment so you can’t avoid the extra charge if you can get your hands on the coveted item.

Stock is super limited but you can use the handy postcode searcher to the right of the product listing to see if there’s one available close to where you live and ready for delivery.

But just because something is on offer, or is part of a sale, it doesn’t mean it’s always a good deal so it’s always good to shop around to compare prices.

The Range's version is very similar but it costs £40 more

The Range’s version is very similar but it costs £40 more

The Range has a version of the seat for £114.99 so it’s more expensive than Argos by exactly £39.99.

The premium price does mean you have a variety of colour options though, as it comes in brown, green and blue, and you are guaranteed this one is in stock for delivery straight to your home.

There’s also extra grey and black versions but these aren’t in stock right now.

The swing seat can sit up to three people at a time and also includes a canopy that’s protective against the sun’s UV rays.

You can get the swing seat delivered in the colours that are available for free and it will likely arrive within a week.

So there are no extra charges that you’ll have to factor in on top of the £115 price tag, which is handy as The Range don’t offer a collection option for this item.

But if you’re in the market for a swing seat and don’t need to pile on as many people then George has a two seater that’s only £70 – so you’ll loose a chair for the £5 discount.

The Asda brand version of the swing seat comes equipped with the canopy shade and its frame is weather resistant as well.

So this buy could be a perfect alternative if you’ve got minimal garden space.

Amazon has another option but it’s nearly £95, so you’ll have to splash out another £25 for the two seater, but they also have free delivery and you don’t have to be a Prime member to qualify.

Argos has a whole array of garden furniture ready for the summer months and the retailer is selling one bistro set for £50 – half the price of a similar one Wilko is selling.

Other retailers are hot on the garden trends too and shoppers will be happy to know that Aldi’s hanging egg chair is finally back in stock on Sunday.

And B&M has slashed the price of its six piece patio set to £70 as well.
