Are The Teskey Brothers Married, The blues rock band formed by two brothers in 2008. The band consists of four members Sam Teskey, Josh Teskey, Liam Gough, and Brendon Love. In 2019 they signed a deal with two record labels Ivy League Records and Glassnote Records.
The band has released two studio albums, “Run Home Slow” and “Half Mile Harvest.” The band plays soul music with jazz and blues, and rhythm influences.
The musical group has been nominated for seven different awards at the 2019 ARIA Music Awards and won three categories Best Blues and Roots Album, Best Group, and Engineer of the Year. They have also won Music Victoria Awards and National Live Music Awards.
The band released a cover song, “Get Back to the Land” by Archie Roach, with Emma Donovan in January 2022.

Meet The Teskey Brothers’ Band Members
Previously we had discussed the four-piece band Truth Club. The Teskey Brothers are a four-piece band, that has gained an appreciation for their debut album “Half Mile Harvest.” They have honored the old-school Motown sound by making it their own. They have known each other since childhood as they are from the same hometown.
Josh Teskey
Teskey was born on July 31, 1987, to his parents in Warrandyte, Victoria. He is one of the brothers who founded the band; he and his brother Sam started playing music when they moved to Steiner high school.
He is close with his brother Sam; they both have a matching tattoo of Yarra River from where they were raised. Apart from the band, he also started his solo career; he was featured on Soul Messin’ Allstars’ “Soul a Go Go” in 2019 and released another song, “Thinking ‘Bout Myself,” with Ash Grunwald; they also released a collaborative album “Push the Blues Away” on November 13, 2020.
Sam Teskey
Teskey was born in 1989 and was raised with his brother Josh in Warrandyte, Victoria. He and his brother Josh started the band The Teskey Brothers and started to make music together.
Like his brother Sam has his solo projects, he released his first solo album, “Cycles,” on October 8, 2021. Sam is in love with music, and his favorite thing on his day off during the tour is to make new music in his hotel room.
Sam is the younger between him and his brother Josh.
Brendon Love
Love is the bassist of the band. He was born in a small town in Victoria, Australia. He is an experienced bass player, as it has been 15 years, and he was part of bands including The Ruebens, All Barter, and Walk The Moon.
For the past ten years, Love’s focus has been recording, producing, and touring with The Teskey Brothers. When he produced their debut album, he worked with artists such as Ash Grunwald, The Mae’s, and Tom Cooney.
Liam Gough
Gough is the drummer of the band. He was also born in the same hometown as the other bandmates. Love and he went to the same school and met Sam and Josh on a bus. Since then, he has been with the other members and played in several bands with his bandmates.
