Among those eligible for the switch are customers previously enrolled in the Closed or Open Beta programs.

Manufacturer OnePlus said the expansion will gradually be freely made more widely available.

“We’re very excited to release OxygenOS 14 to the OnePlus 11 officially,” the company said.

“This build will be firstly pushed directly to users who participated in the Close Beta and Open Beta versions, and then it’ll be gradually pushed to more users.

“This update is already rolling out in the IN (India) region.”

OnePlus previously opened its first Open Beta for Android 14 in September and announced OxygenOS 14 in August.

The update comes as an updated version of Google Drive will become available to download for all Android users by November 21.

But despite the upgrades Android’s emergency SOS satellite feature is set to be cancelled, less than a year after it was released.

However, in a positive twist for users, a simple trick has been revealed to help the phone’s battery last up to two days.

As Tiktok user Electroworld has shared on the app, the first place to look is in the power saving setting.

They say to slide from the top of your screen to the bottom to reveal the quick panel.

Then, long press on the power saving mode button, making the choice from several options to choose from.

Users can limit the CPU (known as the clock rate) of the phone to 70 per cent, which is the speed in which your device completes tasks.

By switching off several apps and decreasing brightness by 10 per cent the Android’s battery can last up to two days, the user said.
