According to Fire Stick Tricks, most Wi-Fi routers can provide the signal strength you need from about 30 feet away.

If you can have your router closer to your TV than this then that’s said to be even better.

There’s also the option of investing in a Wi-Fi extender.

This is a good option if you need to keep your router further away from the TV.

Bear in mind that Wi-Fi signals can be interrupted by things like metal or other gadgets that produce similar frequencies.

It’s best to keep the router raised off the ground and in its own space away from clutter.

If you’re still having Wi-Fi issues with your Amazon Fire Stick, you may want to check you’ve set it up on the right network.

You can plug the power adapter into the wall.

Don’t plug the USB cable directly into your TV.

Then, turn on the TV and select find the right HDMI input.

Do this using your TV’s original remote.

Next, you just need to follow the instructions that appear onscreen including your choice of Wi-Fi network.
