AMAZON has revealed a trick for Fire TV Stick users and it can make your home devices easier to manage.
The tip is for people running a smart home environment with lots of devices connected.
“Giving your Fire TV Stick a good name can make it easier to manage in the context of a smart home.
“It’ll help you manage your devices in the Alexa app, and know which Fire TV Stick you’re controlling,” Amazon says on its website.
Changing the name of your Fire TV Stick is easy.
All you have to do is head to Amazon.com and sign into your account.
Next, click on the Manage Your Content and Devices page.
Then, open the Devices tab and select the gadget you want to rename.
All you have to do is click on the Edit button and write down the name you’ve chosen.
Amazon also provides other tips for making your Fire TV Stick a useful part of your smart home network.

The tech giant explains: “Your Fire TV Stick device can control other devices in your home theater too, as long as they support the right tech.
