Amazon advises using a high-speed HDMI cable for streaming high-quality content.

Its support website states, “Use a High-Speed HDMI cable (not included) for streaming titles in 4K Ultra HD.”

The tech giant promotes this as a tip for fixing your Fire TV device if you’re facing blank screen issues.

It says using the cable can get a blank or unresponsive screen running again.

Amazon also notes that “when you start or stop streaming in 4K Ultra HD, your TV screen may flicker or turn black for a few seconds.”

High-speed HDMI cables are not too expensive and can sell for around $10 online.

Amazon Fire TV Sticks come with a range of accessories.

This usually includes an Alexa Voice Remote and a simple USB cable.

You’ll also find a power adapter and AAA batteries you can use for the remote.

Another free accessory is the HDMI extender, which has several uses.

It can be useful if you’re struggling with connection issues or an overheating Fire TV Stick.

The 3-inch extender is designed to make it easier for you to plug and unplug the USB-shaped device into the TV.

PC Mag said, “It makes it easier to plug and unplug the Fire TV Stick, easier to connect to the network, and in my experience, even keeps the device cooler.”

Amazon said on its website, “Use the HDMI extender cable if it’s difficult to plug the Stick into the TV’s HDMI port.”
