The gadget quickly became popular around the world – selling more than 200 million units since then.

This is due both to the convenience of the device and its many clever settings.

One of the best tools the Amazon Fire Stick comes with is the Network Diagnostic Menu.

WHAT IS THE NETWORK DIAGNOSTIC MENU?

Fire TVs and Fire Sticks both have a hidden network diagnostic menu with information about your device and network connection.

Turning this menu on could help you troubleshoot any issues, and in turn, enjoy our Fire Stick better.

Some information on this menu includes your WiFi signal strength, noise level, and channel numbers.

There is also a “More” button that can help you perform a throughput test.

A throughput test looks at your device’s performance and pins down how many requests your software can take per second, minute, or even hour.

To Access the Network Diagnostic Menu, press and hold the Rewind and Left buttons simultaneously for about 5 seconds.

Then release both buttons and press the Menu button once.

OTHER TIPS

Another handy setting can help you enjoy a movie in your home privately.

This is thanks to Fire Stick’s Bluetooth capabilities which allow you to pair your headphones.

In turn, you can enjoy a movie on the big screen without disturbing anyone else in your home.

To Pair Bluetooth Headphones With Your Fire TV Stick, first put your headphones in pairing mode.

Next, open Settings on your Fire Stick and tap on the Access the Controllers & Bluetooth Devices option.

Select Other Bluetooth Devices and then tap the Add Bluetooth Devices option to connect a device to your Fire Stick.

Hover over your headphones when they appear and press the Select button on your Fire Stick remote.
