When is Black Friday 2021?
Black Friday 2021 takes place on November 26.
It follows straight after the Thanksgiving holiday in America, which occurs on the fourth Thursday of November.
Once a US-only event, the sale is now a global phenomenon with thousands of retailers and brands taking part annually.
Globally stores will be slashing prices after the holiday, allowing consumers to bag incredible deals ahead of the festive season.
Offers usually continue over the weekend – now commonly referred to as Cyber weekend – ending at midnight on Cyber Monday.
Is Amazon taking part in Black Friday in 2021?
We’d say it’s safe to assume Amazon will be taking part in Black Friday.
The online retailer has done so for several years, so we’d be very surprised if that changed this year.
Shoppers can look forward to deals across all categories including tech, beauty, fashion and home furnishings.
When does Amazon’s Black Friday 2021 sale start?
Even before Black Friday itself, many retailers start offering fantastic early bird deals – and Amazon is no exception.
Amazon started its early Black Friday sale for 2021 on November 8, and you can view all of the UK deals here.
It’s also worth signing up for an Amazon Prime premium membership if you don’t already have one.
It costs £79 a year or £7.99 a month and include plenty of great perks including same-day delivery, Prime Video and Prime Music streaming services.
Prime members also get 30 minutes early access to lightning deals during Black Friday too.

When does the Amazon Black Friday 2021 sale end?
Traditionally Black Friday deals end at midnight, but over the years retailers have extended the discounting period for longer.
Amazon generally continues most of its big Black Friday savings all the way through the following weekend and into Cyber Monday – the digital-only version of Black Friday.
The retailer even launches new deals during that time, which are available while stocks last.
This year Cyber Monday falls on November 29, so that should be your last chance to score a great deal.
What to expect from Amazon’s Black Friday 2021 sale?
In previous years Amazon has put a large amount of its stock on sale during the annual event.
Last year Amazon slashed prices on smart home devices, TVs, home appliances, beauty products, headphones, Nintendo Switch game consoles and smartwatches.
For 2021 we expect to see hefty discounts on Amazon’s own-brand devices such as Kindle e-readers, Echo speakers and Fire TV Sticks, as well as on its sister brands like Eufy and Ring.

Some items may even be discounted by as much as 70-80%, generally most savings will range from 25-75% off.
That makes a huge difference if you’re investing in big ticket items for your home, especially when it comes to buying new TVs or upgrading an old laptop.
You can often get savings on the most recent models of coveted items from premium brands too.
When is Cyber Monday 2021 and will Amazon be taking part?
Cyber Monday falls on November 29 this year, and it’s usually the final day for shoppers to make savings.
Amazon usually offers deals throughout the Cyber Weekend and Cyber Monday period, so shoppers will be able to extend their bargain-hunting right up until midnight on November 29.
In the past Cyber Monday deals were only accessible online and were tech-focused (hence the name).
In comparison Black Friday deals have always been available both online and in-store, and have focused on big-ticket items.
However, in recent years, we’ve seen a shift in the way the deals are launched throughout the discounting period.
We now often see the same offers running from Black Friday to Cyber Monday, with most retailers choosing to official end sales at midnight on the Monday.

Will Amazon Black Friday deals be better than Prime Day?
Last year we saw very similar discounts over Prime Day and Black Friday.
This was possibly due to Prime Day taking place in October, very close to Black Friday.
This year Prime Day took place in July, so it’s possible the discounts will be bigger during Black Friday, especially with differing seasons, new product launches and stock levels all playing a part. It’s hard to say for certain though.

Will there be exclusive deals for Amazon Prime members?
While we’re not entirely sure what Amazon will do this year, but a couple of years ago it had an exclusive 30-minute early access to all lightning deals in the sale for Prime customers.
Prime membership costs £79 a year or £7.99 a month. New users can get a free 30-day trial.
Does Amazon offer any other discounts?
Students can get Amazon Prime for free for six months. After the trial ends, you can get 50% off full Prime membership making it £3.99 a month.

If you’ve got an Amazon Prime account your delivery fee will be free.
Amazon typically offers free delivery on orders over £20. This is a great option if you’re happy for your purchase to arrive three to five business days after you’ve bought it.

For orders from third party sellers on Amazon, prices can vary depending on the seller.
